With Netflix’s third season the magician In the works, Witcher fans have once again been looking forward to sending calls and rumors about supposed castings to see which characters might be included in the next season and which actors and actresses will play. Among those theories was a report that acrobat and fight coordinator Wolfgang Stegmann will return for next season, and if so, that’s a promising sign for the fights we’ll see in Season 3.
Stegemann is not a member of the cast the magician Who you would’ve seen in fights himself, but you’ll likely remember his contribution even if you didn’t know he was behind it. He is credited as the fighting master and choreographer for the Battle of Blaviken Market in season one which can be seen below if you need a refresher. He performed the same duties in Geralt’s fight against Renfrey which immediately followed the Blaviken brawl. He did not design all the battles in the first season of the magicianbut these two have emerged as favorites of many viewers.
And when the third season comes out, we’ll apparently see more of his work. Again, it’s not a guarantee that Stegemann will take on the same roles again as he did in season one nor is it an indication of how involved he will be in the show. As Redanian pointed out, Adam Horton was the stunt coordinator in season one which is a different role than the stunt coordinator duties that Stegman did in episode one, but the fact that his name is attached is a good sign for the events of season three.
the magician A release date for Season 3 hasn’t been set yet with relatively new information not confirmed at this time, so we’ll have to wait until its release date approaches to see who will be participating and in what capacity.
