The developer was looking to bring the beloved James Bond video game to Xbox 360 as a downloadable arcade game, but due to licensing issues and misunderstandings, the game wasn’t allowed to be released. The developer completed the entire project, but did not see the light of day from an official point of view. A copy of the Remaster has been leaked online, allowing players to play it on PC, but it’s still not playable on modern consoles.
With that said, there were signs that Rare and Xbox might have sorted things out and revived Golden eyes 007 remaster for existing platforms. A website for tracking Xbox achievements, TrueAchievements showcases a player known as BigSheep to unlock new achievements for Xbox. Golden eyes 007 On Xbox as recently as last week. The account reportedly belonged to a rare employee who worked on it rare re In 2015. Online achievements are usually only listed as early as the game’s release because they are some of the final things added to the game. However, the fact that they were online for some teams has led many to believe their release is imminent. With Xbox hosting a summer show next week, it’s not possible for Xbox to announce a release date or release the game live during the show.

Neither Xbox nor Rare has acknowledged these leaks, so fans shouldn’t get their hopes up. Since the game has already come close to release once and has been put on hold, it is entirely possible that it will happen again. This won’t necessarily explain why the game is getting new achievements uploaded to the servers, but sometimes there are things in the industry that can’t be explained.
