Marvel’s Luke Cage star Mike Colter responds to reviving rumors

Luke Cage Actor Mike Colter responded to those rumors about the revival. It appears that he has not been informed of any plans for a Netflix Defender-Verse reunion at this time. Marvel fans are wondering if they can see all the Defenders in the MCU after Charlie Cox’s big comeback in Spider-Man: There is no room for home. Well, Coulter saw the cries of fans and decided to respond during his appearance on The View. They asked him all about a social media post that united Krysten Ritter with her old star. The Jessica Jones The star posted the photo and people went bananas. However, a Luke Cage representative says this was just a coincidence. In fact, he argues that they live close to each other. But the hosts seem to think he’s weaving a long story to keep fans away from the scent. Check out his story here.

“You know it was funny, we live in a neighborhood very close to each other. And we bumped into each other in a strawberry patch which was about an hour away. We just happened to be in the same place hanging out with our kids. I bumped into another actor I didn’t know and he’s like, “Oh yeah, Kristen is here!” And I thought they were friends. So I texted her and she showed up and we stopped, letting the kids play.”

“Forget the strawberry patch. I don’t know what’s going on with Marvel,” he admitted. “I’ve loved working with her and I don’t really know anything else but that. That’s it.”

Comicbook.com spoke to Ritter earlier this year about the possibility of the role returning. Marvel has brought back a lot of beloved characters lately. However, if the story is there, you can count on the actress to answer the call.

“I love Jessica more than anything,” Ritter explained to ComicBook.com’s Charlie Ridley. “And I loved those years that I played it.” “If there is ever a chance for her to appear anywhere, I will be the first. [to say yes]. I may or may not have a jacket ready in my wardrobe. So, you never know, but if I get the chance to play it again, I’ll be very happy.”

“I am always willing to do it again,” she added. “It was an absolute dream. And I love her. I love that character. I love the way she connected with so many people in a deep way and it resonated with women and girls in such a sexy way. I am so proud that I have to play such a special character.”
