The scarlet and violet Pokémon theory suggests that masters are evil

Pokemon masters have served as springboards for the series’ games over the years, and even truer than that, they’ve always been good forces compared to the opponents of Pokemon games. But what if this is not the case in scarlet pokemon And the Violet? Pokemon players have been making theories since the latest report revealed that the game’s two featured professors may actually be villains rather than role models to take directions from, and based on what we’ve seen, those theories may not be too far off.

For those who haven’t seen the Masters yet, you can see them in the trailer above about 20 seconds into the . The first hint that something might be wrong with these two characters given by Professor Sada and Professor Toru comes from the fact that there are two of them. Previous Pokemon games only had one master, so the fact that there was some focus on this part of the game really prepared players for something going on.

We’ve already concluded that the professors’ names probably hint at the themes of this Pokemon game pair, but their names are also deviations from another professor’s trend. All the former masters are named after different types of trees while Sada and Turo are not explicitly named. Maybe they aren’t even real masters after all?

Regardless of those details, they simply look like they could be evil too. The official Pokemon Twitter account even jokingly tweeted about them with a post that could have been an indication of how attractive the minded professors are, but could also be a subtle indication of misdirections in place.

You can see this tweet and more speculation about the professors below while we wait for more info before scarlet pokemon And the Violet Released on November 18.
