Johnny Depp has a special video message to fans last night from his UK concert tour | music | entertainment

The Pirates of the Caribbean did not even wait in the United States for the outcome of the defamation and counter-libel case with Heard. Instead, he’s flown to the UK to hop on stage with friend and musician Jeff Beck as a special guest leg in the UK on his current tour, which concluded in York last night. Depp spent time with fans after the show before security had to drag him away, but he also sent a direct message to all of his supporters. The star posted the video on Tik Tok, his first ever on the video sharing platform as he amassed over 9.2 million followers in just a few days.

He said, “To all my valued, loyal, and steadfast supporters. We’ve been everywhere together, and we’ve seen it all together. We’ve gone the same road together. We’ve done the right thing together, all because you cared. And now, we’ll all go forward together. You And, as always, employers and again I can’t express my thanks, other than just saying thank you. So, thank you. My love and respect, JD.”

The post, which was also shared on his Facebook account, was flooded with thousands of comments from fans and supporters.

Ex-wife Heard issued a statement in response to Depp’s thank-you video saying, “As Johnny Depp says he’s ‘moving forward’, women’s rights are going backwards. The message of the verdict to victims of domestic violence is…fear to stand up and speak up.”

Before York’s concert, Depp waved to the crowd (holding a glass) before turning away from his security. Take some time after the show to sign some autographs and talk to some of the assembled supporters. Watch the clips of Depp leaving the concert below.

The star has appeared on every UK show for Beck’s tour to date and has performed on a number of tracks including Jimi Hendrix’s Little Wing, John Lennon’s Isolation, What Happens to Marvin Gaye, and The Beatles’ A Day in the Life.

The couple also already announced another major new project together.

During a June 2 show in Gateshead, Beck told the audience, “I met this guy five years ago and we haven’t stopped laughing since. We’ve already made an album. I don’t know how it happened. It’s coming out in July.”

Beck’s tour will now take place on the continent, where it will conclude on July 25 in Paris – but it is not yet known if Depp will continue to join him on stage.
