Marlins star Jazz Chisholm gets Dennis Rodman comparisons, but not in a good way

According to MLB Insider John Heyman, Jazz Chisholm was “the subject of criticism” during the Miami Marlins meeting.

The Miami Marlins didn’t have the best start to the 2022 season. That was when fans heard that the Marlins had a 90-minute team meeting before their June 7 game against the Washington Nationals. There are now details about the said meeting, and star Jazz Chisholm has been the subject of debate.

According to John Heyman from New York PostChisholm was “the subject of criticism” by his teammates during the meeting. One person Hyman spoke to compared Chisholm to former Chicago Bulls star Dennis Rodman.

“Jazz is like Dennis Rodman,” the person said to Heyman. “He will always be a lightning rod. But he works and plays hard.”

Heymann notes that the person who said the quote above indicated that his teammates might be “jealous” of Chisholm.
