When is Glover Teixeira vs. Jerry Prochaska?

Find out when the first Singaporean pay-per-view event will launch in the US.

The UFC returned to its regular pay-per-view schedule Saturday night (in the US) as UFC 275 will host two matches in the tournament from Singapore’s indoor stadium in Keelang. In the main event, Glover Teixeira and Jiri Prochazka will battle for the Light Heavyweight belt. In the joint title, the flyweights shine, while Valentina Shevchenko battles Talia Santos for the belt.

With so many international UFC events, the time change is also a major concern for fans in the US, as they sometimes have to watch early morning or afternoon cards. However, for this card, fans will be treated to a regular start time of 10PM ET / 7PM PT with Pay-Per-View Midwest starting at 9PM PT. Previews are tentatively scheduled to begin at 6:30PM ET / 3:30PM PT on UFC Fight Pass and ESPN+

If all goes according to plan, expect Teixeira and Prochazka to walk to the octagon around 12:30-12:45 a.m. ET, which is the equivalent of 1:30-1:45 p.m. in Singapore the following afternoon, Sunday, 12 June .

What are the stakes in a UFC 275 main event?

For Teixeira, this is his first defense of his Light Heavyweight belt, taking the title from Jan Błachowicz in October 2021 via a rear throttle in the second round in the main event of UFC 267 while on Fight Island. With the win, Teixeira is now the oldest active UFC champion at 43 years old.

In the blue corner, Prochazka enters his title after winning 28 matches in 34 matches. His only Ultimate Fighting Championship win came against former title contender Dominic Reyes, where he threw a signature reel to seal the deal in May 2021.

With so much at stake in Singapore, a Prochazka win could usher in a new era at 205 pounds, while the Brazilian’s win could re-establish that age when you’re a professional athlete.

Only time will tell on fight night, as the UFC kicked off its stretch of 10 consecutive weekends of cards on June 4.

UFC 275: Glover Teixeira vs.Jiri Prochazka takes place on Saturday, June 11, 2022, live from Singapore Indoor Stadium in Calange, Singapore. Follow up with FanSided MMA for all the news and highlights.
