101 Studios Inks First Sight On Deal With Vinco Ventures-Backed PZAJ

101 Studios, the company behind series including “Yellowstone” and “Mayor of Kingstown,” has signed a first-sight deal with PZAJ, diverse can exclusively reveal.

PZAJ, a global film and television production company founded by Philip Glaser, Jason Brown and Ash Grayson, is owned by Nasdaq-listed Vinco Ventures Inc. Vinco Ventures is currently being integrated with Zash Global Media.

Already in development under the new partnership, a feature film adapted from Los Angeles Times writer Bill Blachk’s “Paradise Found,” a story about a fire-ravaged California small town that finds new hope for a soccer team that rises from the rubble of destruction.

“Paradise Found” is slated to be produced by Mark Ciardi of Select Films, PZAJ’s Phillip Glasser, and Jason Brown. David C. Glaser, David Hotkin and Bob Yari of 101 Studios will produce alongside PZAJ’s Ash Grayson, Ted Farnsworth and Ron Burkell.

The recently announced 101 feature documentary on FIFA corruption is also a product of the New Deal. The doctor will follow up on journalist Andrew Jennings’ investigation of the FA’s executive team and its members.

Ross Dinerstein of Campfire Studios, Ged Doherty and Trish D Chetty of Above the Line and 101 of David C Glasser, Ron Burkle and Bob Yari of 101 Studios will produce the based alongside Phillip Glasser, Ash Greyson and Jason Brown of PZAJ, Ted Farnsworth and Shannon Riggs. David Hotkin will be producing. Jennings died in January.
