Resident Evil 4 Remake reveals first gameplay scene

Today Capcom revealed our first official look at the gameplay of the upcoming remake Resident Evil 4. First announced earlier this month at PlayStation’s State of Play event, Capcom has largely put a spotlight on this new version of the game. RE4 Via a trailer showing a number of different locations and characters that will appear in the game. And while this trailer didn’t include any actual gameplay footage, we’ve now got a brief glimpse of what to expect.

The relevant footage revealed during today’s Capcom Show originated from the beginning of Resident Evil 4. Instead of seeing protagonist Leon Kennedy engage in a shootout with enemies, the gameplay shows him walking down a dimly lit path and approaching a house. It has been noted that Leon’s character model has received some changes when compared to his last appearance, mainly because this game takes place six years after he was last seen. In general, the shots looked quite similar to Capcom’s new method Resident Evil 2 And the Resident Evil 3which is expected in many ways.

The game’s publisher and developer have stated that they will have more to share with the project at some point in the future. And while a well-defined window was not given to the news, it stands to reason that silence would not surround RE4 For a long time since it’s due out early next year.

To be specific, this new iteration of Resident Evil 4 It is scheduled to be released next year on March 24, 2023. When it hits store shelves, it will be launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
