HBO Max released the first teaser for Little Liars: Original Sin, which also reveals when the continuation of the world of Pretty Little Liars will appear on the streaming service. The new Max Original series introduces a new cast of Little Liars, who find themselves embroiled in a conspiracy when a masked killer sets out to punish the Little Liars and their mothers for their sins. The 10-episode season officially begins Thursday, July 28 with three episodes. The next two weeks will see two episodes released on August 4 and August 11, with the last three episodes being saved on August 18.
Little Liars: Original Sin Comes from Executive Producer and Writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (RiverdaleAnd the Sabrina’s Spooky Adventuresand co-executive producer and writer Lindsay Calhoon BringSabrina’s Spooky Adventures). The main cast of the Pretty Little Liars reboot includes Bailey Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zarya, Malia Biles and Maya Rivko as cool liars, who will be joined by Mallory Bechtel, Sharon Lill, Elena Goode, Lea Salonga, Eric Johnson and Alex Iono.
The series’ main tagline reads: “Twenty years ago, a series of tragic events nearly tore the blue-collar town of Melwood apart. And now, in the present, a disparate group of teenage girls – an entirely new group of young liars – find themselves tormented by an unknown aThey set sail and are forced to pay for the secret sin their parents committed two decades ago…as well as their own. In the dark, up-and-coming, horror-filled drama: PRETTY LITTLE LIARS: ORIGINAL SIN, we find ourselves miles from Rosewood, but inside the current Pretty Little Liars world – in an entirely new city, with a new generation of little liars.”

Marlene King and her iconic cast have created, we knew we had to treat the original series as #CANON and do something different,” Aguirre-Sacasa and Calhoon Bring said in a statement. The series was first announced. “So we’re thrilled and terrified by this reboot, which we hope will honor what fans have loved about the hit series, while weaving in new, unexpected elements.”
