This week marks the release of Captain America: Freedom RangerMarvel invites fans to help solve one of the title’s central puzzles. The series from authors Colin Kelly, Jackson Lansing, and artist Carmen Carneiro includes a plot related to Steve Roger’s Adamantium Shield. Cover and order for the month of September Captain America: Freedom Ranger #4 Featuring some of the many clues placed throughout the series. Marvel promises that some clues have already receded, with more to come in the coming months as Cap’s adventures continue along with Winter Soldier.

The Terminator was the main villain in the first issue when he attempted a terrorist attack during the July 4th celebration. Before the Terminator dies, Steve warns: “The shield is not what you think it is,” he says. “It’s not your code. It’s their code.”
While Steve Rogers may be in the dark as to the origins of this mystery, Bucky Barnes appears to be on top of things. Captain America: Freedom Ranger #1 ends up staring at his own threads with the Winter Soldier symbol drawn in the middle.
Kelly said when Marvel announced Captain America for Steve Rogers: Sentinel of Liberty and Captain America Sam Wilson: The Truth Code. “With our story, what we really wanted to start looking at was, How has America changed? What does it mean to be patriotic now? Because it means something very different, even in the last two or three years. We’ve seen a radical transformation in our country, especially for a lot of young people. , real anger and disappointment at what our country has begun to do to itself. Cap can’t turn its back on America, and neither can any of the hats, because the idea is good. The kernel is good and worth fighting for, but they both need to wrestle with what that means in Our Lord 2022. “
