Super Bowl Champion Got Raiders to Donate $1 Million to Uvalde

“I told Mark I had spoken to (Hal Harrell, Uvald Unified Independent School District Director) and he told me we needed about a million dollars so we could take some action to make our schools here safer,” McIlroy said. According to Uvalde Leader-News. “Let’s do it,” Mark said.

The school district will use the donation to make schools safer including “stronger doors, cameras and more fences.”

“In all the years that I’ve played with the Raiders, this organization has taken care of me and my family, and looked for players and all of the Raiders family,” McIlroy said.
