Digimon Adventure 02 Gearing up for a massive comeback with a new feature film, she’s gearing up to reveal the first stills from this new movie later this summer! The Digimon series is now celebrating the series’ 20th anniversary, and as a result, fans have seen eight original select children from the series’ first season return for a full TV reboot anime and Last Evolution Kizuna (which brought them a story to the end). Then it was announced that DigiDestined Digimon Adventure 02 will also get its due with a new movie in the near future.
Toei Animation first announced it Digimon Adventure 02 He’ll get a new movie of his own this past summer during last year’s DigiFes, but unfortunately there have been very few significant updates on how this new movie will turn out. But that will soon change with the announcement of DigiFes 2022, and one of the most exciting things to come for the new event is the excitement that fans will have to watch the first stills of this new movie along with celebrating the second series in general.

DigiFes 2022 will take place on July 30 in Japan and will celebrate both Digimon Adventure 02 (which will show some of the new movie) and Digimon Frontier, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary. This will be the first significant update of the new movie since it was first announced. Director Tomohisa Taguchi and writer Akatsuki Yamatoya return from Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution KizunaIt has been confirmed that the new Digimon Adventure 02 will take place two years after the events of that movie.
It has been teased that it will feature a new character described as the first human to meet a Digimon partner, but concrete details surrounding its official title, story, and potential release date remain largely a mystery. The footage from the original ad appeared online shortly after the event in Japan last year, so cross your fingers that the same is happening in these first stills as well.
