Callisto protocol teases PS5 controller features

Callisto Protocol It’s set to launch on a number of different platforms this year, but the PlayStation 5 version could have an edge over all the rest. In a new interview with detective gameDesign Director Ben Walker joked that the team is planning to make good use of the DualSense controller. Over the past year and a half, multiple games have taken advantage of features like haptic feedback, and that seems to be the case for Callisto Protocol. Walker didn’t reveal anything specific about those plans, but he did note that the console’s capabilities will provide a greater immersion.

“Sure, we’re pretty into all of that,” Walker told Game Informer. “As satisfying as it is to listen and look, feel it adds that extra level, and that control definitely gives us that ability. So all of those nuances and everything, we’re working really hard to put it in and make sure it really stands out on the console.”

The best horror and survival games immerse players in their world and try to make players feel terrified all the time. It makes sense for developer Striking Distance Studios to look for any possible way to amplify these feelings. It remains to be seen just how much Callisto Protocol You’ll use DualSense features, but PlayStation 5 fans should be happy to see it supported!

For those who are not familiar with the game, Callisto Protocol It is an upcoming game from director Glenn Schofield, creator and producer dead space. Dead Space games are some of the best survival and horror games of all time, so expectations are understandably high Callisto Protocol.
