Chris Pratt teases Mario’s voice for new movie

Chris Pratt has lent the voice of Mario for the upcoming animated movie. When Chris Pratt was cast as Mario, many were surprised. Mario has a very distinctive Charles Martinet voice and has always maintained a very young, innocent and charming Italian tone. Chris Pratt, on the other hand, is not really a voice actor despite his work in animated films like lego movie And it doesn’t exactly sound like it has a huge vocal range. As of now, no one knows what Pratt will sound like, but it was said that he won’t use an Italian accent in the Mario movie. One of Mario Pratt’s producers also praised the role, saying they “loved” his performance as the beloved Nintendo hero.

in Interview with VarietyChris Pratt has mocked what fans can expect from his comparison to Mario. The Marvel representative stated that he worked closely with the filmmakers responsible for the animated film to find the perfect sound and settled on something to be proud of. He also noted that it will apparently be different from what game fans might expect, noting that it’s “updated and unlike anything I’ve heard in Mario World before.” It’ll probably be a while before we get a proper taste of what Chris Pratt will look like as Mario because they’re still recording the audio for the movie.

“I’ve worked very closely with directors and tried a few things and landed on something I’m really proud of and can’t wait for people to see and hear it,” Pratt said. “It’s an animated voice narration. It’s not a live action movie. I wouldn’t wear a plumber’s suit running all over the place. I’m providing the voice for an animated character, and it’s up-to-date and unlike anything I’ve heard in Mario World before.”

The Mario movie has unfortunately been pushed back to 2023 after it was due to be released this holiday season. As such, fans will have to wait a little longer to get a new Italian plumber. This movie will be the second Nintendo icon adaptation, but hopefully the most accurate movie yet.

Mario will be released on April 7, 2023. It stars Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Seth Rogen, and Keegan Michael Key. Are you excited for the movie? Let me know in the comments or hit me up TwitterCade_Onder.
