The US state of Ohio has a population of 11.8 million and includes major cities such as Columbus, Kentucky, Greater Cleveland, West Virginia, and others.
But it appears that the state has often been targeted by people who find the state less desirable than other places and have reacted on social media to funny “Ohio syndrome” memes.

The trend has recently taken over Twitter but there are hundreds of old hilarious posts about Ohio as the state has often been a target of meme participants.
“Speak for yourself, Columbus. Those who visit Cleveland often feel a sense of awe and wonder once they realize they’ve found Paris in the Midwest,” another Twitter user replied.
