Kenny Omega Presents a Progressive Update to AEW Fight Forever

Hype is building the first-ever video game for AEW, reportedly titled AEW Fight Forever, although we still don’t have many details on it. In a new interview with Shawn Ross Sapp from fightingKenny Omega has revealed more details about his role in the development process and the overall progress of the game, which appears to be moving smoothly after some initial hurdles. Omega said that some items that looked like they’d be left on the chopping room floor will now enter the game, and he’s hoping they can deliver the game this year, so there seems to be good news from all around.

“It’s great that people are excited, and it makes me happy. It was really challenging because I wasn’t sure what I could do, what I could do. From a creative design standpoint, how do I convey my ideas, are they going to be understood?” said Omega. ? Will it be off the wall?

“Now we got to the point where we talked about what we can do and what we have the time and budget for. Now, it’s almost time to find something else in this project to do because the creative process is almost complete where, we know how the matches are going to flow, we know Some systems, and we know the kind of action and reaction. It’s now in the process of fine-tuning and fine-tuning from there,” Omega said.

“Still, there’s a lot to get done, but our guys at Yuke’s are working at an amazing pace. It’s unbelievable how much they’re doing in 24 hours. It seemed like out of nowhere, a light switch went off and they went into hyper mode. They’re working fast. Great. Some of the things we were worried about are now being done on the cutting room floor. Trying to make a whole new wrestling game out of the ground has been a challenge up there, during the COVID era. It was really hard. It got to a point where it looked bleak and we probably wouldn’t call this The thing is never, but we’re kind of over that, and with progress on Yuke’s and the guys on our side and Jetta [Hideyuki “Geta” Iwashita] And with his old connections who jumped on board and helped push us to the finish line, we’re hopeful we’ll be on time to make sure we’re out of this game by this year. or not. Omega said.

From official reports and confirmations, the list includes many of the big names and AEW fan favorites they know, although some recent additions may not be the initial roster. However, Tony Kahn told The Corner podcast with Andreas Hale that more will be added with DLC as we go.

“So we’ll have a great roster when we start, and then we’ll still be able to add people through the DLC as we go, but making sure we get the best roster possible when we start. We’ve signed a lot of wrestlers in the past year, especially in recent months.” We may not be able to get everyone involved, but folks who signed recently, we’re still trying to get some of the biggest names in because we think that’s the best chance the game will launch is to have some of the biggest stars in the wrestling world in the game, and we’ve already had Lots of them, and we’re adding more.”
