FromSoftware’s Hidetaka Miyazaki announces the next title is in its final stages

Just two months after the release of Elden Ring, FromSoftware already has a new game in the works. In an interview from 4 jammerwhich is printed in Japanese, Elden Ring Director and FromSoftware President Hidetaka Miyazaki stated that his company is wrapping up an undisclosed address.

When asked about a post again, Miyazaki confirmed that it’s in its final stages. FromSoftware is working on several new games, as mentioned in the interview. According to the interview, many posts are handled by a number of different developers. “In fact, there are many titles made by people other than me, and it is time to increase the number of developers,Miyazaki explains.

Given FromSoftware’s lineage — Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Elden Ring — it’s tempting to assume that the new game will be another Soul game. However, entry into the mech shooter series, Armored Core, could be a work in progress due to the extent to which the new Elden Ring is coming to market. On top of the new game announcements, FromSoftware is hiring. In a recent tweet from FromSoftware, they posted a job listing page that contains artwork from many of their previous titles, including Armored Core.
