“I would be ready for anything, frankly – including a completely non-celebratory atmosphere as the season draws to a close,” said Matt Dover. And it’s not just about the story, just the fact It’s like, oh my God, this thing that has defined so much of our lives, these people who’ve been with us since the beginning, seven years now, and it’s hard to imagine the journey ending.”
Weird things 4 will be divided into two different parts. The first 7 episodes are currently streaming on Netflix, with two more episodes to follow on July 1st. After the fourth season, the streaming service announced that the fifth season will be the final installment of Stranger Things.
Shawn Levy and The Duffer Bros return to direct the majority of Weird things Season 4, with the original cast returning. Not much is currently known about the season’s plot, but if the trailer is any indication, we’re on a road trip. The series stars Winona Ryder, David Harbor, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Kerry, Maya Hawke, Bria Ferguson, Cara Bono, Brett Gilman, Jimmy Campbell Bauer, Eduardo Franco and Joseph Quinn.
