Dead by Daylight (DBD) Update 6.0.2 Patch Notes today (27 June)

Dead by Daylight, the popular survival horror title from Behavior Interactive, released a new bug-fixing update 6.0.2 on June 27. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest update.

The full DBD 6.0.2 update is set on servers at 11AM EDT / 4PM GMT. Since the release of Chapter 24 this month, this is the second bug-fixing update that the developers are rolling out.

After the last update ended, players have repeatedly reported issues they are having with The Dredge. This patch specifically addresses the same issue along with other bug fixes that have been reported by multiple communities.

    • The maximum range the Dredge can be seen at night has been reduced to 20m (it was 24m)
    • Maximum range from which survivors can see each other during nightfall has been increased to 54m (it was 24m)

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue that caused the game to crash when starting a tutorial bot match without fully downloading the game. (keyboards only)
  • Fixed an issue causing the DBD image on the foreground screen to be off center and missing the Dead by Daylight logo on PS4. (PS4 only)
  • Fixed an issue causing the Pig’s Ambush Dash to incorrectly display the description of the Calm Spirit feature.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause performance to decrease when the bucket teleports between tanks.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented survivors from being captured by the killer when they fell while purges in a puddle of fidelity.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the Dredge’s cam to lock up when stunned at the same time as teleporting to the locker.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the Dredge’s cam to lock after exiting the locker.
  • Fixed an issue where the Dredge smoke VFX would appear outside the locker when entered.
  • Fixed an issue causing the Dredge’s weapon to appear deformed while interrupting the treasury.
  • Fixed an issue causing some Killer add-ons to lose parts of their descriptions in certain languages.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause severe environment/lighting to flash when playing against Dredge at night in Autohaven Wreckers maps.
  • Fixed an issue that caused parts of the Dredge model to be cut off by the camera when walking and looking for very rare Twisted Playsuits.
  • Fixed an issue where anniversary clips and sound effects would not play when the generator was completed on the small yellow generators in the Raccoon City Police Department maps and the game.
  • Fixed an issue causing Trapper and Wraith’s weapon to slip into the wrong position when moving.
  • Fixed an issue that caused animations to capture male survivors when breaking free from Assassins’ grip by any means.
  • Fixed an issue causing Nightfall Light to flicker in Dredge.
  • Fixed an issue causing two hooks to appear close to each other in Coldwind Farm maps.
  • Fixed an issue causing an avatar to appear too high in The Pale Rose.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the avatar to be inaccessible in The Game ma
