Jaylen Brown sends a clear message to hated Celtics fans

Having just raised nearly $25 million in annual salary. Over the next two seasons, Brown is set to make roughly $26.7 million in 2022-23 and $28.5 million in 2023-24 before reaching unrestricted free agency in 2024. This will be before Brown’s 28-year season in the MLS For professionals.

Admittedly, it must have smelled bad for a player of Brown’s caliber to always play second fiddle to a star like Tatum. He came to the league a year after Brown and earned more buzz, respect and accolades over his Boston teammate. We get it, but it is what it is. The catch though is that the Boston championship window is wide open, but it may close after the next two seasons.

Again, Brown may be a huge fan of the Celtics, so he may not want to play anywhere else. However, this is a volatile media market that will turn the player around in an instant, especially when he claims he doesn’t feel loved. Regardless, Brown will have to find a way to put the haters behind and forget about them. It would be all about him if he won a title.

Liking a Tweet is one thing, but it’s not like he’s publicly saying his disdain for some Celtics fans.
