It’s almost time for the release date of Stranger Things 4 Volume 2. And no, we’re not rehearsing by listening to Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” (although it appeared in the first trailer for Stranger Things 4 from Volume 2.
But when it comes to the excitement of watching Stranger Things 4 Volume 2 on Netflix, it feels like we’re headed toward a very sad ending. While the gang may survive this season (we know Stranger Things 5 has been confirmed) the aforementioned trailer cries out the death tolls for Stranger Things 4! In part though, the visuals of Stranger Things 4 Volume 2 casually spoiled the character’s fate.
Hopefully, however, we get all the answers we need, including the 13 Stranger Things 4 questions we have for Volume 2. So, without further ado, here’s everything you need to watch Stranger Things 4 Volume 2 online:

Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 Trailers & Thrillers
The full Stranger Things 4 trailer is available from volume 2, and if you don’t think someone is going to die, I bet you will now.
The sound of Vecna haunting the Stranger Things 4 Volume 2 teaser trailer, itself is something of an Easter egg. For those who watched until the end of the credits for Episode 7 of Stranger Things 4, I watched the clip below.
Speaking to Eleven (in flashbacks when El inadvertently helped Eleven escape/Henry Creel, who seems to have caused the Upside Down) he says “It’s over, Eleven, you set me free. You can’t stop this now,” During a series of rapid-fire moments.
Netflix has finally released the official version of the clip as part of Geeked Week.
Stranger Things 4 Volume 2 Playlists
The first report of when a Stranger Things 4 episode would run was the kind of shocking news that terrified as much as it was disturbing. It all started when Netflix (Opens in a new tab) The news broke that “Episode 407 lasts an hour and 38 minutes; Episode 408 takes about an hour and 25 minutes; and 409 takes about two and a half hours.”
The lack of specificity in the last two episodes (which includes all parts of Stranger Things 4 Volume 2) was a red flag that everyone kind of ignored. The ending, according to some sites we wouldn’t be ashamed, was “two and a half hours,” as the word “almost” was erased.
Then, the official Twitter account of Stranger Things writer’s room (Opens in a new tab) Clear matters, tweeting “Official final runtime: 2 hours 19 minutes.”
Stranger Things 4 Volume 2 plot
First, the biggest news of the end is that we now know who was responsible for the massacre at Hawkins Lab – and it wasn’t eleven. While El may have freed Henry Krell (aka 001) from the controls the laboratory had placed on his body, it was an unintended aid in the murder of Krill (Jimmy Campbell Power). Then Eleven came to stop Henry Creel, essentially sending him into (or creating?) the upside-down we know and don’t really love.
Now that it looks like Vecna is out for revenge and it’s up to the kids to stop him. In order to stop him, Eleven will need more of her powers again, as she seems to have regained a fraction of her abilities during her time inside Project NINA, where she has relived her past.
While Dustin and the gang are able to help Steve, Robin, and Eddie escape the Upside-Down game, Nancy is actually stuck there after experiencing a mysterious “fall.” Rescuing her will likely be Steve’s (and the rest) top priority in Stranger Things 4 Volume 2.
Meanwhile, in Russia, Joyce and Murray finally track down Hopper and Dmitri, who stop the Demogorgon with a bayonet in his face. We expect them to return to the United States as soon as possible.
For one of us, the story of Stranger Things wasn’t the most surprising thing about Season 4.
Stranger things season 4 volume 2 cast
We’ve got a complete Stranger Things Season 4 guide to cast and characters so you can immerse yourself. But expect the usual familiar faces of younger teens: Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gatien Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Max (Sadi Sink) and Will (Noah Schnapp). Oh, and since we’ve been waiting and waiting for this new season, we’ve put together a look at how the Stranger Things kids have progressed over the years.
Speaking of Sink, the press told that the fourth season of Stranger Things will have the highest “bets” ever on the show. We wonder if this means that The Upside Down is becoming a danger to the entire world, or something different entirely.
Youngsters Steve (Joe Kerry), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) and Robin (Maya Hawke), as well as Joyce (Winona Ryder, one of our picks for TV Moms) and Hopper will also return.
The fourth season of Stranger Things also includes Erica (Bria Ferguson), Sam Owens (Paul Reiser), Karen (Kara Bono), and Murray (Brett Gilman).
Eight new members have been reported by diverse (Opens in a new tab), starting with a horror icon himself: Robert Englund. Yes, the man behind Freddy Krueger is coming to Stranger Things. The report notes that Englund portrays Victor Creel, “a troubled and frightening man imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a horrific murder in the 1950s”.
001 / Henry Creel is played by Jamie Campbell Bower (Sweeney Todd), a distracted bassist with a car played as Argyle by Eduardo Franco (Booksmart) and Joseph Quinn (Catherine the Great) is Eddie Munson, who runs the Hellfire Club D&D group. He is targeted by Jason Carver (another new cast member, Mason Dye), the rich kid at school. Nikola Djoriko (the genius) is Yuri, a Russian smuggler.
Then, there’s Grace Van Dien as Chrissy, the main cheerleader for Hawkins Hay and the most popular girl in the school. One of Vecna’s victims, but e! News Reports suggest that Ross and Matt Dover want to do more with Van Dien, after saying they regretted killing her. Chrissy could return in a flashback sequence or the dream (or nightmare) she had as Eddie Monson (the last person to see her alive), or her boyfriend Jason Carver.
Other new additions: Tom and Lachiha (Game of Thrones) play Dmitriy, a Russian prison guard, whom Hopper befriends. Sherman Augustus (Into the Badlands) is Lieutenant Colonel Sullivan, who seeks to crush the evil of Hawkins forever.
Brenner (Matthew Modine), who “raised” Eleven at Hawkins National Laboratory, also returns to help Eleven regain her power.
