Looks like we might see another talent from WWE NXT move to Raw or SmackDown, as a new report from Choose a fight He says there have been serious discussions about bringing NXT star Solo Sikoa to the main roster. The report states that there was no brand associated with these discussions and that previously there was some thought of bringing Sikoa to the main roster directly without going to NXT first. Now it can switch to brand red or blue, and it might be the perfect addition to spice up The Bloodline’s storyline on SmackDown.
Now, it can also be transferred to Raw, giving Usos even more reason to appear there, and Reigns and The Usos are the stars of Raw and SmackDown thanks to their undisputed champion status. Regardless of which brand is chosen, we are likely to see Bloodline involved in the events of Sikoa and vice versa.
Sikoa made his NXT debut in late 2021 and has since risen steadily through the ranks. He entered the title picture this year, competing in a five-way peaceful match for the North American NXT Championship against Carmelo Hayes, Grayson Waller, Cameron Grimes and Santos Escobar. Grimes defeated Hayes to become the new North American Champion, but Sequoia would get a second chance at the title.
Later in the year, Grimes and Hayes would compete in a triple threat match in North America, and Grimes would end up retaining him. Since then, he has teamed up with Grimes and Apollo Crews against Hayes and Waller, and during the last episode of the House Show he faced Hayes in a North American title match but Hayes kept it.
The next logical step would be to either take Hayes off that title or shift his focus to something else, although if WWE knew they wanted him in Raw or SmackDown already, he might just end up bypassing the NXT Title picture while moving forward to jump to one. from other brands. We just have to wait and see what happens and if anything in The Great American Bash sets the stage for Sikoa to jump into a different show.
