The latest Genshin Impact leak sheds some light on one of the game’s upcoming characters that is set to debut in the Sumeru region.
We’re approaching the second anniversary of Genshin Impact, and since the game’s release, the one thing fans have been constantly waiting for is the Sumeru District launch. Characters like Yaoyao and Baizhu have already appeared in the game and fans are eagerly waiting for the day when they will be able to play with those characters. According to the leaks, it is not quite that far as we may get the Sumeru region along with the Dendro item in the 3.0 update itself.
We’ve had quite a few leaks in the past few days regarding Dendro’s characters, but these leaks seem to be one of the biggest to date. Participated in Jinshin effect leak subreddit, the leaked video gives us a look at one of the game’s upcoming characters, Nilou. Not only do we see the character in the game, but another video also leaks the character’s back-to-back animation which is something we don’t usually see until the beginning of the beta.
While a number of fans are already excited about the new character and have started providing her Primogems, it may be a while before we see Nilou in the game. There are tons of Sumeru characters leaked, and in all likelihood, we won’t see all of them undo in the 3.0 update itself. It is very likely that Nilou will reach 3.1 or 3.2. However, it is building hype for upcoming updates, and we could be seeing more interesting things in the coming days.
