Right after the trip, it was finally time for WWE’s Money in the Bank, and things started with one of the most anticipated matches on the card, the Women’s Money in the Bank match. With so many compelling options to win the current match, fans were excited to see who would leave with the chance as well as how long they would actually hold that chance, as there were very few extra cash on the same night in the past. After several close calls, Lynch was the same, but then Morgan came along and was able to overpower her to claim the bag, win the match and shoot for the title.
The bell rang and Evans and Bliss immediately went up the stairs and so did the others, leaving Lynch and Asuka in the ring one for one. Lynch then knocked Evans off the outside but Asuka returned with more kicks and kicks, then knocked Rodriguez out of the ring. She then knocked Lynch and took the ladder away from Shutzi, but Lynch got back on her feet and kicked Asuka. She grabbed a ladder and threw it at Asuka but she ran away, then she threw Asuka Lynch on the ladder and Morgan followed her. Then Rodriguez went up the ladder with both of them and hit him.
Schutzi would get his revenge by taking Bliss out after jumping off a ladder put up by Rodriguez, then Evans and Asuka were in the ring and hit the ladder at Rodriguez, hanging her in the corner. Schutzi then lowered the ladder inside her and hit her face on the ladder, but Morgan hit his knee on Schutzi. Then Evans slammed Morgan and then Asuka followed on Evans, and finally Lynch jumped off the ropes and hit Asuka, causing everyone to fall.
Bliss got back on top and then bumped into everyone, while Rodriguez was still pinned to the corner against the ladder. I finally broke free and caught Bliss, but Bliss resisted with kicks and slaps and then a knee kick, then hit a tornado, sending Rodriguez face-first up the ladder. Then Bliss pinned Rodriguez to the ladder again in the corner, and Asuka took in the capital.
Shutzi confronts Asuka next and Asuka turns her over to the ladder, seeing a moment for her to climb. Evans stopped Asuka and then began the climb, but Lynch pushed the ladder. Both stars got there and kicked Lynch out again, and then they met each other. Evans bumped Lynch’s face into the ladder and then picked up the ladder and started climbing again. Schotze grabbed her and then ran, but Evans caught her and they swapped climbs for a minute until they both reached the top of the ladder. Evans scored her, kicked her off the ladder, and put him in her hands, but then Rodriguez climbed up and prevented her from getting her, and Morgan joined her and tried to get her herself. Morgan went to unhook but Rodriguez prevented her from getting it and sent Morgan to fly, but she managed to knock Evans to the ground. Rodriguez was in disbelief and Schutzi was stopping her from climbing, and Schutzi locked Rodriguez’s legs through the ladder and started hitting the chops.
Rodriguez knocked her down and then Bliss began climbing, but Schutzi picked her up and dropped her down the ladder after the fake collapsed. Schutzi climbed to the top but Lynch was the same and was caught, and Lynch hit Schutzi’s head on the top of him. Lynch fell and Schutzi continued the attack, placing Lynch on a ladder and climbing to the top. Schutzi went over to the guard but Lynch evaded and shoved her onto her back directly against the ladder. Asuka returns but Rodriguez stops her only for Asuka to drag her down.
Asuka pulled Rodriguez out of the ring and then Rodriguez knocked her down and put a ladder through the ring and the announcement table. Asuka tried to interrupt but Rodriguez grabbed her and then went to pick her up but Asuka responded. Rodriguez still holds it and then drops it to the floor in a rod. Rodriguez picked her up again but Asuka responded, and then Asuka tried to make a request only to get down the ladder thanks to Lynch.
Then Lynch saw a ladder and Asuka on the other one and pulled a ladder toward her. Lynch then jumped off her back and bounced off Asuka, sending both of them to the ground, although Asuka looked like she was in some pain. The multiple stairs were in the ring now and almost everyone was at the top. Lynch pushed both ladders out, leaving one ladder in the middle and one in the ring, but Morgan grabbed it. Lynch knocked her to the ground but Morgan jumped again and then pulled her down, leaving her alone. Morgan climbed the ladder and took the bag, making her the winner of the woman’s money in the bank!
