Big E had some good news in their latest update regarding his neck injury. The former WWE Champion took a belly-to-belly upper suplex from Ridge Holland on the March 11 episode of SmackDown and landed on his head, breaking his C1 and C6 vertebrae. Fortunately, the injury did not require surgery as there was no damage to his spinal cord, but the huge man was stuck in a neck brace for several months.
“I’ve received some really good news, all things considered,” E said in his first statement regarding the injury. “The C1 and C6 are already broken, didn’t think displacement was a very good thing, and I have no spinal cord damage. No ligament damage, no surgery, which I am very grateful for. And a pro tip. If you’re going to break your neck, do it.” In Birmingham. They were great. Everyone here at UAB has been great. He confirmed that the neck brace was completed earlier this summer, then wrote on Monday, “Update! My C1 hasn’t ossified yet. Current plan is to get more scans at the one-year mark and watch how it progresses. The news The good thing is that I feel great and surgery is off the table.”
