The Miami Hurricanes Football Program was able to ensure commitment to attacking interventionist five-star Frances Mauigua.
In an effort to return their football program to its former heights, the Miami Hurricanes were able to fire former Oregon Ducks Mario Cristobal to become their head coach, effectively replacing Manny Diaz three years later. The Hurricanes were not only getting a winning soccer coach at Cristobal, but also a top-notch recruiter. He showed this with their latest commitment.
On July 4, the Hurricanes secured a five-star offensive class 2023 commitment with Frances Mauigua. The recruiter chose Miami over the likes of Alabama, Tennessee, USC, Florida and Hawaii.

Mauigua announced his decision on CBS Sports HQHe revealed that he had a close relationship with the machine, Cristobal, and offensive line coach Alex Mirabal when they were in Oregon. You can hear Mauigoa’s explanation in the tweet below, courtesy of 247Sports.
Standing at 6ft 5, and weighing 330lbs by IMG Academy, Mauigoa has been rated the best offensive tackle in the entire 2023 class, 3rd prospect in all of Florida, and 9th inductee in the entire nation, For every 247 sports compound.
