Major spoilers for season 4 of Netflix Weird things down below.
The last two episodes of Weird things Season 4 was full of engagement. Even before vol. 2 was released, fans have already experienced those serious Vecna-related deaths (which included some pretty amazing effects), and it was enough to give anyone the feeling. Also, Millie Bobby Brown—whose character Eleven is going through a very emotional journey while eliminating a menacing villain Hawkins—found herself breaking down in tears on the set. but why?
Size 1 of Weird things Season 4 may have given viewers a serious telepathic battle between Eleven and Vecna back when it was 001, but that had nothing of it for a rematch in Vol. 2! Of course, the biggest difference was that the teenager was now facing the villain in his mutated form. while talking with diverseActress Jamie Campbell Power Vecna/001 revealed that Millie Bobby Brown broke down in tears when she saw him wearing his creature outfit:
I don’t know what’s scary: the final look of the character or his background. At the end of volume 1Fans learned his name was Henry Creel, a troubled young boy who killed his mother and sister and fell into a coma before killing his father. When he woke up, Dr. Brenner (Papa) took care of him, and he became his first test subject (001). After manipulating Eleven to remove a chip that was controlling his telepathic powers, the young man went on a killing spree at Hawkins Lab, even though El defeated him and sent him to the Upside Down. It was there that he was struck by lightning bolts and physically disfigured as a result.
By the events of Season 4, Vecna was killing teens in an attempt to open a barrier between the Upside Down and the Hawkins. Jamie Campbell Power, who totally takes on the role, knows just how horrifying his character can be. But fortunately, Millie Bobby Brown has found a way to distinguish the man from the beast:
Almost anyone would likely lose it when they come face to face with the horrific character, especially when it comes to practical effects It was used to turn the actor into a Vecna. The Sweeney Todd The alum needed 25 pieces of latex and silicone rubber to stick to his body using medical tape. While 10% of the vine extensions attached to his body were CGI, everything else was real the same. As a result, he will start his day at 3:00 AM, and spend seven and a half hours becoming a Vecna. After filming his scenes for 10-12 hours, he’ll be back in the makeup chair for another hour to remove them completely. Talk about dedication!
It was great to see more of Jimmy Campbell Bauer’s work during the final episodes. Although unfortunately, we won’t see more of it yet The final season of Weird things series Reaches. It’s definitely worth the wait, as Bower and his co-stars will likely bring an A-game. It’s probably an emotional farewell too, one that might make us cry like Millie Bobby Brown.
To see the look of Vecna in all its spooky glory, watch the entire fourth season of Weird things using your Netflix subscription. Those looking for other shows to watch can find them with CinemaBlend’s 2022 TV schedule.
