Warning: Major spoilers receive the complete fourth season of Weird things.
Weird things He finally released the last two episodes of season 4, and he hasn’t gone back on introducing twists and turns and tragedies Before the final credits are rolled. Although Eleven manages to save Max’s life, the champions don’t win this time, and it’s all because of Vecna, aka One and Henry. Jamie Campbell Bower played the new big bad for the Netflix hit, which involved donning an elaborate synthetic costume to complete the nightmarish look. However, the actor opened up to CinemaBlend about how he was willing to play Vecna without the outfit.
After releasing the folder. 2 Revealing how close Vicna came to killing both Max and Eleven, Jimmy Campbell Power spoke with CinemaBlend. After agreeing it’s a “good” sign that his character might be scary enough to cause some nightmares, he explains how he honed his performance as Vecna while wearing all those prosthetics for scenes with Millie Bobby Brown (who had a lacrimal reaction) as Eleven and Sadie Sink as Max:
Perhaps the only scenes of Jimmy Campbell Power without any prosthetics are when he played one before the massacre at Hawkins Lab, but he was able to prepare to play Vicina without wearing the full costume. Prosthetics makeup artist Barry Gore previously told CinemaBlend About the Vecna creation process As a “strong and very practical character”, Bauer’s comments prove that he did not need to be in head-to-toe prosthetics to improve his performance Weird thingsThe newest (and possibly the most dangerous) villain. Follow the actor:
With Jamie Campbell Bower’s skin covered in the prosthetics that helped make Vecna so intimidating, he can also use his energy and body to deliver his performance. He can’t be expressive in comparison to his co-stars who don’t use prosthetics, but he still manages to “own the space” after all of his outfit preparations. He explained the “long process” to hone his performance as a Vecna:
The Mind Lair was new (and pretty scary) set for a fourth season, and it was only fitting that the actor got a spacewalk before actually playing Vecna in all his sinister Upside Down glory. Between his appearance in costume, Bauer’s physical performance, and how the character killed his victims (With some terrifying sound effects), Vicna may come down as the most feared villain in Weird things Date.
Of course, a lot depends on what happens in the fifth and final season. There is still a question as to how much of a threat the Mind Flayer really is, and Vecna may be able to unleash an Upside Down on Hawkins after Season 4. Eddie’s death (Which actor Joseph Quinn revealed was “weird” for his portrayal for an interesting reason) means the heroes have less of an ally than they did prior to the season 4 finale, and it seems safe to say that Max won’t be in the throes of the action as he once was.
There’s no word yet on when fans can expect Season 5, but hopefully the wait won’t be as long as they’ve been waiting for Season 4 after Season 3 in 2019! At the moment, fans can always use files Netflix subscription To watch and rewatch the four seasons so far.
