Tales from the series of events released November 2022, January 2023

Bandai Namco held a special live broadcast on July 1, teasing two Tales of Series events as well as announcing the Tales of Arise anniversary event. The stream featured Tales of Series producer Yusuke Tomizawa and three Seiyuu: Katsuyuki Konishi (Lloyd in Tales of Symphonia), Masaya Onosaka (Zelos in Tales of Symphonia), and Yasuyuki Kase (Dohalim in Tales of Arise).

Katsuyuki Konishi and Masaya Onosaka have been official ambassadors for the Tales series for years, and they appear at nearly every event. Yasuyuki Kase has recently become a regular guest, with Dohalim now seeing the most popular character in the series, according to fan poll results revealed at Tales of Festival 2021.

During the live broadcast, Tales of Series producer Yusuke Tomizawa announced The Road to Festival Tales Which will include many events in the next few months. The project will culminate in Tales of Festival 2023, whose dates have been announced on June 10-11, 2023 at Yokohama Arena. This announcement also confirmed that there will be no Festival Tales in 2022.

The Road to Tales Festival’s first event will be the Tales of Arise 1st Anniversary Concert, which will take place on September 25 at Yokosuka Arts Theater in Japan. The event also got its own key visual, shown below:

Furthermore, Yusuke Tomizawa has also announced two additional events for November 2022 and January 2023. Additional details will be revealed at a later date, and these two dates are only teased with “soon” on the way to the festival tales Official Page.

These events come within the framework of the celebrations leading to the Festival Tales 2023, where the Festival Tales of the Festival will celebrate its fifteenth anniversary. As such, we shouldn’t set our expectations high when it comes to game related ads. With that said, Yusuke Tomizawa has been teasing announcing the remakes or remodels for over a year now.

The first time Tomizawa raised this matter was in a Twitter discussion with fans in August 2021, and a few days later in an interview regarding the launch of Arise. We translated this in our previous coverage.

Tomizawa again mentioned the remakes and remodels in a January 2022 interview with Famitsu magazine. I highly recommend checking out the translation by Deep Records. Finally, the producer once again mentioned remanufactures and remodels in a March 2022 interview that we translated.
