Pizza Hut brought the famous Edge Pizza back again

Nostalgia for the ’90s is still going strong. We’ve seen it in fashion, in music, in entertainment, and even in food, where over the past year many favorite brands from the best decade have brought back both as limited-time offers and on a perpetual basis. And Pizza Hut is doing it again by bringing back the popular The Edge pizza again this summer for a limited time.

Available now, The Edge is back on Pizza Hut menus again this year. Pizza, one of the most popular brands, was originally introduced in 1997 and is a thin crust pizza based on Thin ‘N Crispy dough. What gives pizza, well, an edge is that the toppings cover said dough from edge to edge. And while The Edge pizza itself is distinctive, the dough it was built on is a major part of Pizza Hut’s history as the first type of dough ever used when Pizza Hut opened in 1958.

This is the second time Pizza Hut has brought The Edge back in recent years. Fan-ordered pizza was also brought back in 2021 for a limited time, but before that, pizza was last seen on the menu during a rare reissue in 2009. Last year, Pizza Hut president David Greaves explained how to make pizza that is “constantly” fan-ordered. .

“The Edge is pizza that our customers constantly ask us to bring back. Anyone who loves thin-crust pizza loaded with toppings will love it,” Greaves said in a 2021 statement. It immediately takes you to Pizza Hut.”

For this year’s comeback, The Edge is available in four options. The Ultimate Set comes edge-to-edge with pepperoni, Italian sausage, green peppers, onions, and Roma tomatoes. Carnivore features pepperoni, ham, Italian sausage and bacon. Pepperoni Lover’s is exactly that pepperoni-laden pizza from edge to edge and there’s even Create Your Own that lets you choose up to three toppings. All four items are available to order now, but for a limited time only If you want to immerse yourself in nostalgia, pizza style, now is the time.
