The new era of Ring of Honor continues later this month. After ROH’s first show owned by Tony Kahn, ROH Supercard of Honor In April, the promotion will return to pay-per-view on July 23 with the 19th installment of death before shame. Tonight AEW DynamiteThree main matches for the upcoming show have been announced. Samoa Joe will put the ROH Television Championship on the line against Jay Lethal, while Blackpool Fight Club’s Utah Wheeler defends his ROH Pure title against Daniel Garcia of the Jericho Appreciation Association. Later in the show, the ROH Tag Team Champions FTR put together a new challenge for the Briscoes. Take off Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler Guy and Mark Briscoe in Supercard of Honor.

The Ring of Honor was last presented death before shame In September 2021, held by then ROH Champion Bandido, who successfully defended his title in a four-way match against EC3, Brody King and Demonic Flamita. Two new champions were crowned on that card, with Josh Woods defeating Jonathan Grisham for the ROH Pure title and Rok-C (Roxanne Perez of WWE NXT 2.0) becoming the inaugural ROH Women’s Champion. Woods will retain his pure title until April Supercard of HonorHe loses to current champion Wheeler Utah.
At the moment, ROH only runs sporadic pay-per-view events, but big plans are in the pipeline for long-term promotion. Last May, AEW President and ROH owner Tony Kahn spoke about plans for a future ROH weekly series.
“I would love to have weekly Ring of Honor TV series, or streaming series, wherever it ends up being, pretty soon,” Khan said. “And that’s something I’m working on, and I think it’s going to be great for fans, as well as the great shows they’re getting from AEW. There are so many Ring of Honor fans around the world who can’t wait for TV to come back again. I hope we have Ring of Honor TV and keep going. Great Calendar of Ring of Honor PPV events. The Supercard of Honor has been a huge success for us, I’d like to bring the Ring of Honor back into PPV as well and keep up with it. I don’t know when the TV will start again on a weekly basis, but that’s my goal, get it back on again Other. It’s something I’m working on.”
