Bloodhunt announces summer update and new Team Deathmatch mode

Sharkmob has confirmed the upcoming release date of Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodhunt’s Summer Update, as well as new features and modes included in it.

eagerly awaited summer updateWhich was confirmed for release on Thursday, July 14th, will feature the all-new Team Deathmatch mode. Along with the new mode, players can also expect to find new map locations, weapons, and some major bug fixes.

Although one of the most important content included in Bloodhunt’s summer update is the new 8v8 Team Deathmatch mode, Sharkmob also stated that they’ve decided to “move away from the traditional seasons model” with the game’s upcoming update.

Instead, players can now expect more regular and smaller updates to the game going forward. According to David Sirland, direct producer of Bloodhunt, the team feels as if keeping seasons in a typical fashion isn’t what works for their smaller team. Instead, Bloodhunt will now receive updates much faster than previously planned, but in smaller batches.

Fans can find an overview of all the new content in this month’s summer update below:

  • New game mode Team DeathMatch (Beta) is coming on July 14, 2022. Two 8v8 teams will face each other with unlimited respawns and the first team to reach the score limit wins. This new game mode will have five unique areas of Prague as battle spaces including; Slaughterhouse, disco, hotel, building and port.
  • Special Summer Ticket Show – 100+ New Items for 600 Tokens (~$5.99)
  • New map locations – Ventrue train added to the train station site and Rudolfinum opened the attic with 3 new entrances to the roof and some other smaller modifications to the interior design.
  • the Paradise The Ventrue area, which was previously closed to the Glycium, is now open. Players will be able to meet Em, the Ventrue primogen, and get quests from her. The Toreador Maia nightclub has opened, and this is an ideal area for players to show off their vampire personality.
  • New melee weapons – Knife and claw
  • Minor and major bug fixes – This will include the infamous reloading and red gas bugs, higher graphical resolutions, updated character rigging, PS5 console improvements, and performance improvements.

Bloodhunt’s summer update will start Jul 14 1am PDT / 4am ET / 9am GMT / 10am CEST.
