The little girl who plays Gore’s daughter is actually Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky’s stepdaughter, India Rose. The 10-year-old has won the admiration of fans for her portrayal of “love” in the movie.

While Gore’s daughter dies in the opening scene, the character later comes back to life after Gore has arrived forever and uses his only desire to bring his daughter back to life rather than destroy all the gods. He gets with her one last moment before he’s gone.

After his death, Love is placed under the care of Thor.
