The next two weeks will be fun for All Elite Wrestling fans, as it’s time for AEW’s two-week Fyter Fest, which is set to take place at AEW Dynamite. The Fyter Fest Week 1 ticket received a down payment from AEW Rampage tonight, including extras like Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, Serena Deeb and Anna Jay. Week 2 also received its first match announcement, and it would easily be one of the most anticipated, as Eddie Kingston challenged Chris Jericho to a thorny death match, and Kingston has plans for the rest of the Jericho Recognition Association as well.
After Kingston gave a raw promotion targeting Tay County’s attack on Robbie Soho, he now said it was not just about his desire for blood, but all the blood due to those affected by the Jericho Appreciation Society. It was also revealed during Jericho’s confrontation with Kingston in a barbed wire match, that the rest of the Jericho Appreciation Society members would be hung above the ring in a shark cage.

For Fyter Fest Week 1, we’ve got the announcement that Serena Depp will face Anna Jay in a singles match, and Depp is looking forward to making a statement after turning on Mercedes Martinez tonight and making her the Women’s Ring of Honor. Championship aspirations are clear. It prompted Depp Martinez to click with her patented submission after the match, and chances are that Martinez will want some revenge before next week is over.
It was also announced that Christian Cage and Luchasaurus would appear on Dynamite, although it is not known who they will face off. This joins the already announced match between former WWE Tag Team partners Claudio Castagnoli and Jake Hager and the AEW World Tag Team Championship match between champions The Young Bucks, Swerve in Our Glory, Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs.
