Uncharted 4 almost appeared in the classic James Bond Stunt

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End It almost showed a very important James Bond stunt. It’s no secret that Uncharted is known for some of its flowery work. The second game actually begins with an injured Nathan Drake climbing a derailed train hanging off the side of a mountain, and slowly collapsing. The series includes helicopter battles, giant ship crashes, collapsed buildings, intense car chases, and much more. It’s an incredibly epic franchise made to feel as cinematic as possible and unknown 4 Really raised the bar with a combination of intense pursuit and wild cuts. Naturally, it makes sense for Naughty Dog to pull out of films known for their actions.

During a conversation with Couch Soup, Uncharted 4 co-designer Kurt Margenau talked about how Naughty Dog thought of adding a stunt similar to that in one of the James Bond films. in diamonds foreverBond, Sean Connery leans his car on its side, putting it on two wheels to squeeze through a narrow gap to lose some pursuers. Marginau noted that the team had planned to put this during the chase for the Madagascar enclave and even make a prototype for it, but it never came to fruition. The team also looked at Michael Bay’s films to think of fun ways to keep the action moving during chases with Margenau noting that the team was “pulling all the crazier stuff in the chase from the movies.” You can watch the video below.

While Uncharted appears to be taking a breather at the moment as Naughty Dog shifts its focus to other things, the game’s franchise continues elsewhere. According to a recent report, Sony Uncharted is now a “franchise” and appears to have the intent of making some sequel. The first movie was a huge hit in all games, even parody unknown 3 Plane sequence to win. It’s unclear what the unannounced sequel will do, but it will likely continue to take cues from the games.
