The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jane Shah pleaded guilty Monday to criminal fraud charges stemming from an alleged telemarketing scheme.
Shah – who has previously pleaded not guilty to charges of telemarketing fraud – entered into payment Monday morning in Manhattan federal court, one week before a planned trial, which was due to begin on July 18.
Shah and others have previously been accused of defrauding hundreds of seniors through an extensive telemarketing scheme. The situation was a story in “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” by Bravo.
The guilty plea agreement calls for Shah’s sentence of up to 14 years in prison. Sentencing is now scheduled for November 28, the Monday after Thanksgiving.
