New PS5 Restock Announced For Best Buy

A new Sony PlayStation 5 console restock was announced later this week at Best Buy. Since the PS5 launched at the end of 2020, Best Buy is an electronics retailer that has had some of its most popular console re-stockings. And while the PS5 is still something you won’t find on store shelves, Best Buy is advertising days in advance when you’ll be able to try buying the platform online next time.

Best Buy is taking place on Tuesday, July 12, and will be posting its latest PS5 restock online. The sale is scheduled to begin around 12:00 PM EST / 9:00 AM PDT and is part of the “Black Friday in July” storefront promotion. As such, there is a possibility that this sale will have more PS5 consoles available than usual because Best Buy is trying to push this promotion with customers. However, the storefront still confirms that the PS5 will only be available in “limited quantities”.

The big caveat with this new PS5 sale at Best Buy is that it will only be open to Totaltech members. In case you’re not familiar with this, it’s basically a membership that Best Buy is looking to sell to customers that comes with some perks. This time around, one of Totaltech’s advantages is that those who are part of the membership will be able to purchase the PS5.

While Totaltech itself costs a huge amount of money, it’s worth noting that PS5 sales that have been restricted behind these “non-payment walls” have fared much better than those available to the general public. So if you’re still already trying to buy a PS5 for yourself and would like some of the other benefits Totaltech has to offer, it might be worth looking into before starting this restocking.

Still in the process of searching for the PS5 on your own? And if so, will you be looking to part with this new PS5 restock at Best Buy, or will you instead wait for a future purchase opportunity? Let me know either down below in the comments or message me on Twitter at Trustworthy.
