It’s an honor to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but these 32 players are still stuck waiting for their call to Canton.
Get a ticket to Pro Football Hall of Fame It is an incredible honor for anyone who has ever played in the NFL. More than 26,000 players have warmed up for an NFL game but more than 350 players have been honored in Canton, making entering the hall an feat only the greatest of the greats can achieve.
Due to the hall’s unique structure for voting which only allows 5 to 8 volunteers per year, there has been a lot of notable criticism. Let’s take a look at one player from each of the 32 NFL teams to see who has the biggest problem not being inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Arizona Cardinals
Snub Hall of Fame: RB Otis Anderson
The way the running back position has been devalued in the modern NFL gives a greater sense of perspective for the talented emergence of the past. Anderson was one of the stars to slip through the loopholes, who had a stellar 14-year career that began with seven stellar years with the Cardinals.
Anderson ran 10,273 yards and 86 touchdowns in his career, a total that ranked him within the top 10 in both categories when he retired. The Hall of Fame never had a fair look at Anderson, a two-time All-Pro player who won a pair of Super Bowls with the New York Giants and was named MVP of Super Bowl XXV.

Snub Hall of Fame: LB Tommy Nobis
Being a standout on a bad team in the ’60s or ’70s could be a death sentence for a player’s Hall of Fame prospects. Apparently that’s what happened with Nobis, who was one of the NFL’s top players, but spent his entire 11-year career with the Falcons struggling to win games.
Nobis was a five-time professional playing the NFL All-Decade team in the 1960s, which should be taken as a mark of respect for his dominance. That note has yet to make it into the Hall of Fame, as Nobis died in 2017 at the age of 74 without seriously considering Canton years ago.
