Stranger Things Star Maya Hawke Hopes Robin Will Have A Love Affair In Season 5

Much like how the audience doesn’t know what to expect next Weird thingsEven many of the series’ stars don’t know what’s going to happen to their characters, but if things are going well for Maya Hawk, she’s at least hoping her character will kiss someone in season five. Huge amounts of chemistry with Steve Joe Kerry, leading some to believe they’d have a love affair, only to reveal that she was gay late in the season. Season 4 offered a girl for Robin to admire, but the feelings were apparently unrequited.

Early in Season 4, Robin revealed that she was a fan of Vicky (Amybeth McNulty), a high school bandmate. Once Robin got caught up in all the unsettling adventures that unfolded this season, she had to put her interest in Vickie by the wayside. Her hopes were dashed when she saw Vicki kiss her boyfriend late in the season, but the season finale concluded with the pair making sandwiches together and Vicki confessing that she was newly single. It’s unclear if there will be a love affair between them, but Hook certainly hopes there will be a romance in Robin’s future.

Robin’s crush wasn’t the only romantic reveal in Season 4, which also saw Will (Noah Schnapp) make an emotional confession about “Eleven” feeling about Mike (Finn Wolfhard), only for this to be a thin veil for Will to vent his feelings. . Since the episode first came out, Schnapp has set the record straight regarding his character’s intentions.

“Obviously it was hinted at in season one: he’s always been kind of there, but you didn’t really know, is he just growing up slower than his friends? Now that he’s grown up, they’ve made him a very real and obvious thing,” Schnapp explained to diverse. “Now it’s 100% clear that he’s gay and that he likes Mike. But before, it was a slow arc. I think it was done very beautifully, because it’s so easy to make a character like suddenly become gay. People have come to me – I was just in Paris, And this, like, a 40-year-old guy came up to me and was like, “Wow, this Will made me feel so good. I have been associated with her a lot. This is exactly what I was like when I was a kid. It made me very happy to hear that. They’re writing this real character and this real journey and real struggle and they do it well.”
