Instagram search bar on browser not working as new appearance

Instagram users have had too many problem in the recent past and it seems like there is a new problem now – the search bar is not working.

The photo sharing app is trending for all the wrong reasons due to its latest glitches. One of the platform’s most persistent problems is the dark mode feature, which enables itself even if users don’t want to.

Some of the other issues that have been reported over the past few weeks include lackluster stories and a faulty explore page that might suggest spam posts.

The search bar on Instagram is not working for users all over the world as the platform seems to be experiencing a blackout.

However, the feature doesn’t only work when you access Instagram through a browser and not from the app.

While the app still shows suggestions for searching for a specific name or hashtag, the error message pops up for itself via PC or phone browser: “No results. We couldn’t find anything for this search.”

At the time of writing, Instagram has not addressed the new issue with users from different parts of the world complaining about their inability to use the feature.

Instagram users have resorted to #InstagramDown because they are unable to detect the error in one of its most important features.

Other recent problems with the app

A week ago, complaints about Instagram started flooding Twitter when users realized they were unable to send or receive direct messages.

While Instagram did not address the issue, many indicated that the bug followed its latest update as Android and iOS users reported it.

Previously, many users complained that Instagram does not allow them to access their cameras to record a story. Some even claimed that they couldn’t even add photos or videos from their galleries.

Since a dysfunctional search bar looks like a global outage, it can take a few hours to get it fixed.
