Cruella Star reveals when filming for the sequel will start

Last year, Disney told the dramatic story of the icon 101 dalmatians Villain Cruella De Vil with a live action movie starring Emma Stone. After debuting to critical acclaim and strong numbers on Disney+, the studio announced that Stone will be returning for a sequel, allowing fans to see more of the character’s story before 101 dalmatians. There haven’t been many updates about what’s new Cruella The movie is up for now, but it looks like the movie is on track to start shooting in 2023.

Cruella Actor Paul Walter Hauser recently spoke Forbes About his new series on Apple TV + blackbirdand was asked about the production of the upcoming Disney movie.

“I’m told we’re going to do that next year,” Hauser said. “I don’t know when but I think Tony McNamara is writing the script right now. He’s probably messing around with this. We’ve worked out the always busy schedule of Craig Gillespie and Emma Stone, who are worth the wait, so any time they want to do it, I’ll be there.”

Post-credits scene Cruella Helps bridge the gap between film and 101 dalmatiansbut leaves room for more story in between.

What I loved at the end Cruella He… I kept calling her Graduation Moment,” director Craig Gillespie told last year. And it’s Dustin Hoffman who’s sitting in the back of the bus, so he’s not sure if that’s what he actually wants. There is this kind of embarrassing frequency. It’s the same as when I entered Hellmans Hall. She had been struggling and fighting for this throughout the entire movie, and then suddenly realized the sacrifice. Looks like she lost Estella. She is less than that part of herself. you know? Now she has this public persona that she kind of has to live up to. This struggle I felt was really fun, think about the time you get to… in my mind, by the time you get 101 dalmatiansYou’ve pretty much gone to the dark side. Now, there is a gray area. How you get to this dark side will be interesting.”
