Ric Flair has already confirmed that his daughter, current WWE star Charlotte Flair, will be attending the Nashville Municipal Hall on July 31 when he teams up with Andrade Idol to face Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal in their last pro wrestling match. Jarrett used this week’s episode of his podcast My World to rip on both Flair and El Idolo, calling the latter a “Star Jerker” while wondering aloud how many opportunities he’s got on the national stage due to his family connections (he’s married to Charlotte) ).
Flair responded to those comments on his latest To Be The Man podcast, joking that Jarrett’s comments could result in him getting beaten up by “The Queen” before “Double J” made it to the ring. Jarrett is the only person under the WWE banner to wrestle at the event, and Charlotte hasn’t appeared on TV since she was written off in WrestleMania backlash.
“He needs to spend a week in Durango, to see where that kid (Andrade) grew up on the city streets,” Flair said. “Holy s-. I love it. I’ll call Andrade ASAP.”
“Can I tell you something now?” added later. “And I say this from my heart, and you know her very well. Jeff, if she saw him behind the curtain, Ashley might take him out before he got to the ring. She’s standing next to her husband. Oh my God, I don’t want her to come to me at 100mph. That wasn’t a comment Smart, especially for her husband. If she’s not coming, I know she’s there now. Both of them and Karen [Jarrett]It is better that they both walk around on the glass.”
