Bandai Namco Entertainment America revealed today through a newly released trailer that the upcoming multiplayer game Dragon Ball: The Breakers will release worldwide on October 14, 2022. It will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC and the Nintendo Switch. Closed network testing will be conducted across all platforms from August 5 to August 6, players can register over here.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers will be a 1-7 online multiplayer action game where seven players called survivors try to fend off the enemy attacker. Earthlings will get a chance to battle one of the three iconic raiders from the original story: Freiza, Cell and Buu. In the newly released trailer, we can observe how attacker Freiza shows his overwhelming powers to hunt down and eliminate survivors and on top of that, they can evolve in the middle of the fight to gain more strength and powers.
As survivors, players will have to make use of scattered items, vehicles, and other weapons available in the stages of the Dragon Ball world to help other team members and escape from the Raider. However, fighting in The Breakers is a race against time in which the attacker gains more power per second, and at some point, someone may decide to go into it alone and escape. There are many ways that survivors may win, and it is up to each player to decide.
In Dragon Ball: The Breakers, players will be able to create their own avatars using familiar Dragon Ball survivor skins and decorations obtained from in-game credits or optional purchases. In addition, players can link Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and save data to earn more rewards.
Registration for the Dragon Ball: The Breakers closed network test is now available for not available players. Entries open July 21 7 AM PDT through August 1 11:59 PM PDT. The session schedule for the NA area was also announced as follows:

Dragon Ball: The Breakers pre-orders are currently available on the official NA website over here And the European Union website over here. The game will be available in three versions:
- Standard Edition (Digital only): Includes full game version + transphere Android 18 and blue scouter accessory.
- Special Edition: Includes physical game + customizable outfit, victory pose, yellow car skin, plus standard edition accessories.
- Limited Edition Package: Includes all previous content + The Breakers Steelbook, an exclusive Hive skin, and a Green Potara addon, a timed bonus exclusive to the Bandai Namco Store.
