Edge of History confirms Harvey Keitel’s return at Comic-Con 2022

Perhaps the biggest piece of news coming from the committee is the return of Harvey Keitel.

It was announced early in production that Justin Bartha would be joining the cast National Treasure: The Edge of History To reprise his role as Crailley Ball, the friendly friend of Benjamin Gates. Keitel appeared in both national treasure Movies like Peter Sadusky, the agent who is tasked with tracking down Gates but ends up becoming more of an ally than a frustrated one. We don’t yet know how many episodes Sadusky from Keitel will feature.

National Treasure: The Edge of History It follows a new storyline with a new cast of mostly characters. Lizette Alexis stars in the series as Jess, a DREAMer who knows her family more than she’s been told. She has been described as an “intelligent and resourceful advertising mind” who loves a good puzzle and has a “natural talent for puzzle solving”. The cast also includes Lyndon Smith, Zuri Reed, Jake Austin Walker, Antonio Cipriano, and Jordan Rodriguez. Catherine Zeta-Jones will portray the series’ antagonist.

Smith plays FBI agent Ross, an activist seeking redemption after a fatal mistake that nearly ended her career. Red takes on the role of Tasha, a social media personality, tech genius, and close high school friend of Jess (Alexis). Rodriguez plays Ethan, Jess’s best friend, who finds it difficult to break the rules. Cipriano plays Oren, a class clown who knows a thing or two about conspiracy theories. Walker is set to play Liam, a struggling musician who comes from a long line of treasure hunters.

Jerry Bruckheimer returns to executive production national treasure TV series after producing two of the Nicolas Cage films for Disney. He was joined by original director John Turteltape and writers Marianne and Cormac Webberley. The two Wibberlys will write the pilot episode of the TV series with Rick Muirragui. Mira Nair is set to direct the debut.
