Sabrina Claudio credited with Beyoncé album

Beyoncé on Wednesday (July 20) released her Renaissance singles chart, eight days before the album officially hits streaming platforms.

The album features the likes of many artists, including Skrillex, Labrinth, Lucky Daye, Tems, SYD, Nija Charles, Honey Dijon, Drake and more.

Sabrina is credited with the eighth track on the album, titled Plastic Off The Sofa, but the collaboration has drawn criticism among some Twitter users.

As I mentioned painting In 2018, Sabrina apologized for a racist insult exposed by fans in screenshots from a since-removed Twitter account that the singer had used.

The outlet reported that Sabrina apologized for her “past ignorance” and wrote, “I am deeply sorry for the insensitive words I used. Some of the things you see are true and some are not.”

She added, “I realize that my past ignorance affects the people I care about the most and I am very sorry. I made mistakes and while I can’t get them back, I will learn from them.”

Some fans are not happy about Sabrina’s credit

Several Twitter users have expressed their refusal to believe Sabrina in the new album after her apology surfaced on social media.

1 Twitter user hung: “Beyoncé snuck [sic] Sabrina Claudio on the circuit too?! interesting.”

another one Requested: “How is Sabrina Claudio doing here??? Didn’t they run security checks???”

another person Wrote: “Beyoncé who got Sabrina Claudio out was not on my 2022 bingo card. lol.”

fourth added: “I’m so confused with Sabrina Claudio on her album. I didn’t get it.”

Other users have been more positive about Sabrina’s credit.

“Beyoncé Officially Canceled Sabrina Claudio,” reaction One user while another person Wrote: “Omg Beyoncé has a song with Sabrina Claudio.”

third added: “Sabrina Claudio” [is] On the new Beyoncé [album]. That’s great.”

HITC has reached out to Sabrina Claudio and Beyoncé for comment.

More about the new album

Renaissance consists of 16 tracks in total and will be released on streaming platforms on July 29, 2022.

Beyoncé announced the project in mid-June after announcing that she had been working on her seventh studio album for some time.

Giving more context about the project, Quinn B explained In an Instagram post: “Creating this album gave me a place to dream and find sanctuary during a time that was scary for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous at a time when few people were on the move.

“My intention was to create a place of safety, a place free of judgment. A place devoid of perfection and overthinking. A place to scream, release and feel free. It was a beautiful exploration trip. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to launch wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.”
