A brand new update for Apex Legends was released earlier today (Friday, July 22) for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Players are currently getting the most out of the recently released Gaiden event, which will run until the beginning of next month. However, there is still a lot of work for developers to do at the moment.
New bug fixing patches are often published on a regular basis, and the most recent was just a few weeks ago. But, with a popular game like Apex Legends, you can always count on new bugs and glitches that happen frequently. Apex Legends 2.01 update patch notes for Friday, July 22
We’re currently still waiting for Respawn Entertainment to confirm the fixes that were included in today’s update; We expect to share an official changelog soon.
However, thanks Karl RenduWe, a data miner within the Apex community, know what bug fixes are likely to be included in the latest patch. Taking to Twitter, KralRindo says the update is “likely an audio fix for Bangalore’s premium skin look and Mirage battlepass ground emote”.
It looks like today’s Apex Legends update is only for some audio issues, but some other fixes are expected as well. According to the game official Trello . boardThere are several other issues that are meant to be fixed in the upcoming patch:
- Players in certain ranks do not receive the correct ranked rewards for certain seasons
- Legendary Bangalore Skin: Tactical use while aiming down will briefly obscure the player’s view
Although these issues have been flagged to be released in an upcoming patch, they haven’t been confirmed by Respawn yet if they’re included in today’s update.
