There have been many comedic adaptations over the years, and fans are incredibly excited for the upcoming series based on Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang’s paper girls. Back in May, the streaming site released the first teaser for the show and the official trailer was revealed earlier this month. Currently, Vaughn and Chiang are with the show’s crew at San Diego Comic-Con and have a chance to chat with ComicBook.comJenna Anderson. During the interview, Vaughn talked about how much fans are embracing the upcoming series. “It’s not our first time,” Vaughn said with a laugh. “It was the best so far. Just seeing how much people love comedy, and comic fans, you well know, aren’t always happy with the adaptations. And it was just there, from the moment I think the first pictures these guys fell for, and everyone was like, “Wow, they got it absolutely right.” You can only tell the tone and the heart, so just seeing the way people actually embraced it without even seeing a minute of it, was amazing.”
