A breakdown of the 3M open payout for the week to see how much prize money each TPC Twin Cities player and $7.5 million purse will bring.
No matter where the PGA Tour went after The Open at St. Andrews, you will always feel like a little disappointment to the world of golf. It just so happened, the next stop was Blaine, MN at the 3M Open in TPC Twin Cities, and as a result of being a week after a major tournament in another country, the field wasn’t inspiring or strong.
However, it has been a big week for players trying to make their FedExCup moves and supply their wallets with some prize money. And although the $7.5 million purse is a bit small compared to other tournaments, there was still plenty of cash to make.
Scott Percy entered the final round with a four-stroke lead on the field, but with big numbers on the horizon, it still looked like anyone could make a move with Emiliano Grillo, Tony Fino, Doug Game and more on the horizon.
With that in mind, let’s take a good look at 3M Open’s payout distribution by closing the position for this week.

Although not the strongest stadium, the tournament in Minnesota was a lot of fun from start to finish.
It’s definitely a course where players can take advantage of some holes, especially with the way the easy conditions were on Saturday due to the weather. At the same time, though, a few tricky spots, plenty of water and a thick, lush roughness put great numbers into play in equal measure.
For a regular stop on the PGA Tour, it was a fun week of golf overall.
