MultiVersus is coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam soon. The new free-to-play fighting game from WB Games is just hours away from its launch, and will bring with it a diverse roster of fighters. MultiVersus is a Smash Bros style fighting game where iconic characters like Bugs Bunny, Batman, Arya Stark, Iron Giant, and more can face off in combat.

But when does MultiVersus come out? And how to play the trial version for free? Here’s what you need to know…

MULTIVERSUS – When did MULTIVERSUS come out? Start time and date?

The MultiVersus open beta – which is free to play – launches on Tuesday, July 26th.

You’ll be able to play the MultiVersus beta on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam – with the WB Games title available on my latest devices (eg PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series XS).

MultiVersus is a Smash Bros style fighting game that has a varied and interesting menu.

In MultiVersus you’ll be able to create some wild matches that you wouldn’t be able to play in any other game.

MULTIVERSUS – WILL MORE CHARACTERS BE ADDED?

WB Games promised to add more characters to MultiVersus with seasons full of content planned.

And some of these new characters have already been revealed, with Lebron James and Rick and Morty reaching out to Multiversus to launch them.

MULTIVERSUS – What types of modes are available?

MultiVersus will play 2v2 team-based battles as well as one-on-one and four-player battles for free for all.

Here’s what WB Games had to say about the modes available in MultiVersus: “MultiVersus offers a team-based 2-vs-2 format with a strong focus on online co-op play. The game also offers 1-vs-1 match, 4-player free-to-all, co-op matches vs. Artificial intelligence, dedicated online lobbies, The Lab (training mode), tutorials, and local play matches that support up to four competitors.”
